When is the Best season for trekking in Annapurna Circuit?

Winter

December to February are the coldest months to trek, with the shortest days and the fewest people. There is often a lot of snow on the ground, especially above Chame, and getting to Destination can sometimes be very difficult or impossible. Many of the higher villages are abandoned for the winter.

Spring

March, April, and May are some of the busier months and for good reason. The days are getting warmer, the weather is mostly stable and the climbing season is in full swing. It really is an amazing sight from, Pisang, Manang, World Largest Pass (Throng-La 5416m), Muktinath. In the lower valleys, the flowers are blooming on the Rhododendrons and the terraced fields turn green with new shoots of vegetables.

Summer

From June to August the summer monsoons bring rain and snow. There are fewer visitors during these months, although some of the most beautiful, warm, blue-sky days occur now. Usually, by the afternoon, there is a rainstorm or snow higher up.

Autumn

This is the most popular time to visit the Annapurna Area. September through November is a time of steady weather patterns, less precipitation, and cleaner air. The lodges are full and everyone is friendly. If you enjoy meeting new friends, want the best chance for great weather and don’t mind an empty, this is the best trekking season.

"An Amzing Experience"

My friend and I were trekking in Nepal for 14 days together with Ramchandra. Ramchandra became a good friend of us, and event though it's more than one year ago we still have contact with him. He is very experienced and has a huge knowledge about the mountains and the different routes. Furthermore he is a funny guy who always is ready for a card game! When my friend became sick halfway at the trek, Ramchandra also managed to help him so that we could continue a couple of days later, without turning around. So if you are looking for a guide in Nepal i would highly recommend Ramchandra and Create Himalaya Adventure! :

"Lifetime Experience"

I was lucky to meet Ramchandra 2 months before our ‘Annapurna Circuit’ trek, when he was helping as a translator for my research. During this period I got to know him and saw that he managed everything and that he is a great friend! After this experience we already talked about going together on a trek. And 2 months later we did this. It is so great to have him as a guide during the trek, because he knows all the facts and can tell you anything about the things we saw. It is so nice, to have him as a guide, you did the hiking arrive at the next stop and he will manage everything for you, so you don’t have any worries. I would really recommend him to other people who are going to hike and need a guide. Not only as a guide, but also as nice company!
