Kathmandu Durbar Square showcases Nepalese art and architecture at its best. The architecture is typical of the Malla dynasty who ruled over Nepal from the 12th to the 18th century.
Swyambhunath:-
Swyambhunath Temple is popular among foreigners as the Monkey Temple owing to the large monkey population residing in the area.
Pasupatinath:-
Pasupatinath Temple is situated on the banks of the Bagmati River and is one of the principal temples of Lord Shiva.
Boudhanath Stupa:-
The Boudhanath Stupa is one of the largest stupa's in South Asia. Meet your guide at an office and prepare for your trip.

After having your breakfast, we will drive you to the Domestic Airport to take a 25 minutes flight to Pokhara. During the short flight, you will have majestic views of glorious Manaslu & Ganesh Himal, and the snow-capped Annapurna and Langtang Himalaya range. Or you can take a Tourist bus to Pokhara about 6-7 hour drive via scenic Prithvi Highway. From Pokhara take a drive to Beni with the magnificent views of Annapurna Himalayas. Beni is a bustling town on a plateau above the junction of Kali Gandaki and Myagdi rivers.

We begin our Dhaulagiri trekking along the Kali Gandaki River from Beni. Continue along the road past lush green rice fields, multicolored butterflies, and huge nightmarish spider webs. Pass by the villages of Mangalghat, Singa, and Tatopani. Crossing Tara khet, climb over a small ridge to Babiyachaur.

Today, our trail crosses the terraced hills; Shahashadhara village Dudh Khola Ratorunga village. The river bank at Phedi offers a fine picnic spot. Cross the Danyga Khola on a big suspension bridge and grind up a series of steep switchbacks. Dharapani offers a good view of Dhaulagiri IV and V and Gurja Himal.

The path goes steeply up to Muri. From here you have the spectacular views of Mt Dhaulagiri and other mountains very closely.

From Muri, the trail is easy and goes down for a few hours. After that, you’ll have some steep climb path to Boghara.

The trail descends down to a small ridge then crosses forest to Jyardan. Descend a long, steep, slippery stone staircase into a deep bamboo and rhododendron forest to the village of Dovan. Overnight stay at the guest house.

You will reach the Italian Base Camp where you will camp just in front of the West wall of the Dhaulagiri. You’ll pass through beautiful forests trail and with the closer views of mountains panorama to Upper vungini which is the Italian Basecamp.

The day is a rest day for the further climbs. You will have a little bit of hiking around or some sorts of exercises. Since, we are rapidly gaining altitude, keep yourself hydrated and take it easy.

Today you’ll make use of ropes for the crossing of glaciers in some tricky places. This part is a bit a dangerous trail so be careful and have patience. Set your camp beyond the glacier.

We will have climb to the rough and chilling part of this trek with the spectacular view of Dhaulagiri all the way. Enjoy the magnificent face of Dhaulagiri I on the trail. We reach the Dhaulagiri Base Camp at the height of 4650m or 15252ft.

Getting off the glacier above the base camp often requires a rope, but once over the steep moraine walls, we are in a safer and gentler country. After a breathless climb to the top of French Col (5300m,) the views of Hidden Valley open out. The broad valley is reminiscent of Tibet and Ladakh and so are the temperatures, at least -20ºC at night.

This is another rest day to admire the surrounding peaks and perhaps do some exploring in the hidden valley. A hidden snow valley gives you a heavenly test of the white world.

After climbing over the 5200m Dhampus Pass, we traverse avalanche prone slopes and then descend steeply to Yak Kharka. The Dhampus Pass between Tukuche peak and Thapa peak is another heaven in the trip.

From Yak Kharka we descend along the flank of the mountain to once again reach civilization. Marpha is the main inhabitants of the ethnic group of Thakalis favorite amongst the trekkers. It has kept its traditional narrow paved alleys and passageways and an extensive drainage system flows under the flagstone-paved street.

The next day trail follows the Kaligandaki River through the narrow gorge, passing through traditional Thakali villages. You can visit the red-roofed Taglung Gompa, on a hillside beside a huge sacred tree. The village of Ghasa marks a cultural and ecological milestone. We spend our night here in Ghasa.

A lovely day walks along Kaligandaki riverside, gradually ascending with the transition into subtropical vegetation. Very interesting suspension bridges to be crossed which gives you the exciting sense of trekking. Tatopani is famous for natural hot springs – you can have time for a hot Scrub-up.

The trail descends steeply through dense moss-covered rhododendron forest with rich bird life. We pass some small villages and walk alongside the Ghaja Khola. It’s about 7-8 hours walk all the way up to Ghorepani. Ghorepani provides an unobstructed view of the sunrise over the high Himalayas.

Early morning trek up to Poonhill, One of the best Himalayan viewpoints in Nepal Poonhill provides an unobstructed view of the sunrise over the high Himalayas. Trek down to Ghorepani and after breakfast start downhill trekking to Tikhedhunga.

We start our journey to Pokhara from Tikhedhunga (1530m) early morning. The trail follows the main street of Birethanti, winding through the bamboo forests and past waterfalls with plunge pools appealing you for a refreshing swim. From Nayapul you’ll have the car drive for about 1 and half hour through large village Lumle to Pokhara city.

If you are physically fit, you don’t need any training for trekking even if it’s your first time. You must walk for a 5-7 hour per day during the trek and the trail are uphill and downhill with a rough path so that you must be physically fit. And we had set such itinerary that’s make the trek a bit easier and more adventurous. The more you are physically fit, the more you can enjoy the trek.
This trekking destination is comparatively hard trek then other but it’s ok if you are physically fit. The Dhaulagiri round trekking is of 23 days as you must walk for the 5 -7 hours per day for the 18 days. The trekking trail is rough, uphill and downhill. As the trial is not paved so the trial is rocky somewhere, so you must be careful if you have a weak ankle and the trail is also filled with the snow depending upon the season.
3. What sort of different facilities can I expect in the trekking trail?
You can expect a standard room at a 3-star category hotel with breakfast and launch in Kathmandu. But along the trekking trail, there are the tea houses and lodges providing the facility of accommodation and food. They provide the clean mattress and blanket as we offer you a Create Himalaya sleeping bag which is a good idea to have your own sleeping equipment (Sleeping bag must be returned after the trip). The lodges in trekking routes provide single or double bedrooms. The food during the trekking trial provided by the tea houses/lodges is delicious of mostly vegetarian fare. During the time of touring in the city area, you can be served with the local food as well as western food. Trekking in the high Himalaya, you will be served with the basic western food and local food. The local foods like Tibetan’s fries’ bread, soups, steamed and fried dumplings (momo), steamed and curried vegetable (Tarkari), different varieties of potatoes, lentils, and rice (dal-bhat). Different varieties of meats are also served by the tea house. The tea house served the eggs, toast, peanut butter, hot porridge, muesli, and local honey in the breakfast.
Each day dinner and breakfast will be at the lodges/tea houses where we’ll stay. And for a launch, we will stop on the trail where you can order a meal as per your choice. Our Guide will help you to stop at the best possible places to eat.
Yes, you need travel insurance including mountain trekking or mountain climbing. You must assure that your travel insurance policy covers this destination. Some of the insurance companies do not cover expenses above contain altitude. A rescue cost $5,000 just for the helicopter. So, it is the most need for the coverage of the expenses.
Our guides had a trekking certificate from the Tourism center. They are trained about the first-aid training for high altitude too besides other training and they always carry the essential first-aid kit during trekking trial. So that they can take care of you in the minor case in the mountains as our guide are 24 hours available for the service during trek.
But, in the case of an emergency, our Guide carries the local sim card to be in contact with the office in Kathmandu. Our guide keeps on updating the situation of the Client, then the office will be managed to send the Helicopter in the trail if the client is seriously sick in the mountain.
Yes, you can add the extra days to explore the destination. But, you must pay the extra charge to the company to cover your expenses for the accommodation, food, transportation, and the charge of the Guide and Porter for the extra days.

Dhaulagiri Round Trekking begins with a drive from Kathmandu to Beni. From Beni, we set out trekking on foot. In between, we will be crossing many cultivated fields, forests, and villages where various ethnic groups like Gurung, Chettri, and Magar residents. After a few days of the trekking, you'll reach the Italian Base Camp, where you'll perceive some of the exciting views of Dhaulagiri I, II, III, IV and V.
On route you'll have some time to rest for a few days to acclimatize to cope with the altitude. Beautiful forest trails with the closer views of mountain panorama will lead to Upper Vungini which is the Italian Basecamp.
Passing through an ever-changing landscape, with numerous picturesque villages, we reach the Dhaulagiri Base camp. During the time of following the trip, we can encounter semi-wild yak herds, mountain sheep or the elusive snow leopard, and of course Kali Gandaki River; the world deepest gorge and so forth.
The hidden snow valley (after crossing French Pass) gives you a heavenly test of the white world. The villages of the Dhaulagiri region and the hidden valleys are particularly memorable, with its charming inhabitants.
