December to February are the coldest months to trek, with the shortest days and the fewest people. There is often a lot of snow on the ground, especially above Isharu, Dobato, Muldai View Point, Khopra and getting to Destination can sometimes be very difficult or impossible. Many of the higher villages are abandoned for the winter, so tents may be your best bet.
March, April, and May are some of the busier months and for good reason. The days are getting warmer, the weather is mostly stable and the climbing season is in full swing. It really is an amazing sight from Ghandruk Village, Mulde Viewpoints and Khopra Danda. In the lower valleys, the flowers are blooming on the Rhododendrons and the terraced fields turn green with new shoots of vegetables.
From June to August the summer monsoons bring rain and snow. There are fewer visitors during these months, although some of the most beautiful, warm, blue-sky days occur now. Usually, by the afternoon, there is a rainstorm or snow higher up.
This is the most popular time to visit the Annapurna Area. September through November is a time of steady weather patterns, less precipitation, and cleaner air. The lodges are full and everyone is friendly. If you enjoy meeting new friends, want the best chance for great weather and don’t mind an empty, this is the best trekking season.

We have been visiting Nepal with a group. Already on arrival in Kathmandu, we had the pleasure of meeting Ramchandra (Ram) from Create Himalaya Adventure, who throughout the visit ensured that everything went smoothly. Airport pickup, hotel accommodation, Pokhara transportation, a fantastic 8 days hiking-trip in Annapurna area (Khopra Ridge Trekking) - a beautiful trip we never will forget, transport back to Kathmandu and finally a tour of Kathmandu. Ram and his team are very competent, good at communicating and fun and nice to hang out with. Ram also manages to make a group work fine together. So that a trip becomes a pleasure for everyone, despite differences in the participants' physical abilities. One of the participants had physical problems and was unable to complete the tour. Ram secured a safe transport back to Pokhara for her. Everyone can be safe under his leadership. We became good friends with Ram during our visit, and will definitely use him as a guide for our next visit to Nepal. We would very much recommend Ram and Create Himalaya Adventure to others.

Fantastisk flot trek.
