Our office representative will welcome you at Tribhuwan International Airport, upon your arrival and then transfer you to the hotel. Take some rest at the hotel and later visit Create Himalaya Adventure’s office. A welcome dinner will be offered in the evening along with a tour briefing by our team.

Kathmandu Durbar Square:-
Kathmandu Durbar Square showcases Nepalese art and architecture at its best. The architecture is typical of the Malla dynasty who ruled over Nepal from the 12th to the 18th century.
Swyambhunath:-
Swyambhunath Temple is popular among foreigners as the Monkey Temple owing to the large monkey population residing in the area.
Pasupatinath:-
Pasupatinath Temple is situated on the banks of the Bagmati River and is one of the principal temples of Lord Shiva.
Boudhanath Stupa:-
The Boudhanath Stupa is one of the largest stupa's in South Asia. Meet your guide at the office and prepare for your trip.

Generally, we go via Nepalgunj to get to Dolpo so, firstly we will fly to Nepalgunj and spent overnight in Nepalgunj. Nepalgunj has situated in the southwestern part of Nepal a steaming hot city. It is a plain land hesitated by different people from different parts of the country and which in culture and heritage. It includes Bageshowri temple, Nepal's one of the important Hindu temples.

Early Morning Depart from Nepalgunj Airport to fly to Juphal, 35-minute flight from with beautiful views of the snow-capped mountain. Juphal is a small mountain village, where we can breathe cold and fresh air than that of Nepalgunj. We have to arrange porters and other remaining equipment's and trek to dunai

On the fifth day, we start our trek from Dunai to Tarakot after having breakfast in the morning. The trail follows along the Thuli Bheri River and amazing landscape of the Dolpo region which by now starts to show its color. Mostly the people inhabiting in the Dolpo region are the ones from Tibetan descent and the Sherpas. The landscape might get rough and rocky in some places. Road service has not yet reached the Dolpa region and Dolpa happens to be one of the most remote areas of Nepal. Guest houses are sparse and hence we have to carry camping materials if the situation demands.

From Tarakot, the trail attains altitude gradually. On our way, we come across many local villages and Buddhist monasteries. We also cross several suspension bridges over the Thuli Bheri River. There are several Tent-hotels along the way and we can stop by and fill up our stock of snacks when needed. Tent-hotels also serve food and drinks to travelers. Items like biscuits, noodles, and other consumable items can be bought from such shops.

The next morning we take tea and breakfast at the camp itself and resume our journey to the Dolpo region. We reach Nawarpani after about four hours of an adventurous trek from Laini. It is a comfortable trek as the trail sometimes passes through pine forests, and yet at other times through fir trees.

From Nawarpani, the landscape suddenly seems to have changed as we now approach a small settlement area in between the huge mountains. A big Buddhist monastery is present in Tarap and almost all of the people in Tarap are inclined on Buddhism or they are the descendants of Tibetans. Traditionally, the women of this region wear dark dresses with colorful aprons weaved from yak wool. The women also wear bracelets made from big shells as part of Tibetan tradition. Taking with the local people also helps the foreigners to learn about the traditional Sherpa and Tibetan culture.

The ninth day of the itinerary, we will be taking rest at Tarap for acclimatization purpose, getting used to the conditions and the increasing altitude. You can travel around the village in Tarap while conversing with the local villagers.

After spending a day at Tarap, we resume our trek the next day. While on the way we also happen to cross the ‘Crystal Mountain School’ which is educating children from the nearby region. It is funded by a French NGO. A further one hour trek from the School takes us to the Numa La Base Camp situated at the altitude of 4440 meters. There is a Buddhist monastery in Numa La Base Camp.

A tough day’s trek awaits us on the eleventh day of the trek as we cross Numa La Base Camp. It is better to start early so that we can cross the Pass before the weather deteriorates in the afternoon. Morning time is generally favorable to cross the Pass as it is easier and safer. Besides, we also have more chances to peek at the mountains for later in the day they might be covered by clouds.
It’s a long and strenuous climb and hence you are advised to go slow and steady breathing as much air as possible. On a clear day, it is possible to view Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Manaslu and Kanjirowa (6883m) mountains from the Pass.

The next day, we cross another Pass and hence another tough but a beautiful day lies ahead of you. Again, an early beginning is advisable. A good 2 hours of trekking after leaving the camp takes us to a High Camp which is close to the Baga La Pass. From then on, the Baga La Pass is quite close and an hour’s trek takes us to the Baga La Pass which also offers uncluttered views of mountains like Kanjirowa and others.

Trek from Baga La Pass to Ringmo is quite long, but the trail is easier and we down climb now from an altitude of 5000 meters. We walk past Yak Kharka and Maduwa Khola and the path is beautifully carved out from the rocks. Then we cross a thick Pine forest and while on the way we also see several nice waterfalls. Ringmo is a nice little place where we will be camping for the night.

From Ringmo, we trek until Shey Phoksundo Lake, the deepest lake in Nepal. Shey Phoksundo is quite popular for its exotic location and for the pristine natural beauty it commands. The tiredness from the trip disappears once you behold the bewitching beauty of the grand lake. Upon enjoying the great view of the magnificent lake.

We will mostly be descending further downhill. The destination for today is the village in Shyanta.

We trek further down to Jhupal from where the entire trek started almost two weeks ago. For the rest of the day, we will stay at a Tented Camp or Guesthouse in Jhupal while preparing for the flight to Nepalgunj for next day.

If you are physically fit, you don’t need any training for trekking even if it’s your first time. You must walk for a 5-7 hour per day during the trek and the trail are uphill and downhill with a rough path so that you must be physically fit. And we had set such itinerary that’s make the trek a bit easier and more adventurous. The more you are physically fit, the more you can enjoy the trek.
This trekking destination is comparatively hard trek then other but it’s ok if you are physically fit. The Lower Dolpo trekking is of 18 days as you must walk for the 5 -7 hours per day for the 15 days. The trekking trail is rough, uphill and downhill. As the trial is not paved so the trial is rocky somewhere, so you must be careful if you have a weak ankle and the trail is also filled with the snow depending upon the season.
You can expect a standard room at a 3-star category hotel with breakfast and launch in Kathmandu. But along the trekking trail, there are the tea houses and lodges providing the facility of accommodation and food. They provide the clean mattress and blanket as we offer you a Create Himalaya sleeping bag which is a good idea to have your own sleeping equipment (Sleeping bag must be returned after the trip). The lodges in trekking routes provide single or double bedrooms. The food during the trekking trial provided by the tea houses/lodges is delicious of mostly vegetarian fare. During the time of touring in the city area, you can be served with the local food as well as western food. Trekking in the high Himalaya, you will be served with the basic western food and local food. The local foods like Tibetan’s fries’ bread, soups, steamed and fried dumplings (momo), steamed and curried vegetable (Tarkari), different varieties of potatoes, lentils, and rice (dal - bhat). Different varieties of meats are also served by the tea house. The tea house served the eggs, toast, peanut butter, hot porridge, muesli, and local honey in the breakfast.
Each day dinner and breakfast will be at the lodges/tea houses where we’ll stay. And for a launch, we will stop on the trail where you can order a meal as per your choice. Our Guide will help you to stop at the best possible places to eat.
Yes, you need travel insurance including mountain trekking or mountain climbing. You must assure that your travel insurance policy covers this destination. Some of the insurance companies do not cover expenses above contain altitude. A rescue cost over $5,000 just for the helicopter. So, it is the most need for the coverage of the expenses.
Our guides had a trekking certificate from the Tourism center. They are trained about the first-aid training for high altitude too besides other training and they always carry the essential first-aid kit during trekking trial. So that they can take care of you in the minor case in the mountains as our guide are 24 hours available for the service during trek.
But, in the case of an emergency, our Guide carries the local sim card to be in contact with the office in Kathmandu. Our guide keeps on updating the situation of the Client, then the office will be managed to send the Helicopter in the trail if the client is seriously sick in the mountain.
