Mingmar Sherpa was born in Solukhumbu, Nepal, the heart of the Everest region, where he developed a deep connection with the mountains from an early age. With over 15 years of experience in Himalayan mountaineering, he has become a highly respected and dependable climbing guide, recognized for his technical expertise, strength, and commitment to safety. Throughout his career, Mingmar has participated in five expeditions above 8,000 meters, gaining invaluable experience in high-altitude climbing, expedition logistics, and challenging alpine environments. In addition to major Himalayan expeditions, he has successfully guided climbers on numerous trekking peaks and mountaineering adventures across Nepal, helping both beginner and experienced climbers achieve their goals. As a dedicated member of the Create Himalaya Adventure team, Mingmar is known for his calm leadership, excellent decision-making, and unwavering support for every expedition.
