Mr. Phur Gelzen Sherpa is a highly experienced Climbing Sherpa Guide and Sardar (S#1872) with an impressive background in Himalayan mountaineering and expedition support. He has successfully climbed Mera Peak more than 250 times, giving him exceptional familiarity with the mountain, its climbing routes, changing conditions, and high-altitude challenges. His wider mountaineering experience includes successful ascents of Ama Dablam, Baruntse, and Manaslu, reflecting his strong technical ability and confidence in demanding alpine environments. As an English- and French-speaking guide, he can communicate effectively with international climbers and provide clear guidance throughout an expedition. His professional development includes a Rock Level 1 Course and Advanced Mountaineering Course completed in 2018, a Basic Mountaineering Course in 2016, and Trekking Guide Training in 2013. He also completed his +2 in Management, adding useful organizational and leadership skills to his field experience.
